The Nubians in southern Egypt and Sudan still speak their Nubian languages. Why don't the modern Egyptians ? The reason is they aren't the ancient Egyptians. Every ethnic group in Africa has held on to their native tongue but the modern day Egyptians. The Berbers still speak their language. There's enough proof to say the modern day Egyptians are not the descendants of the ancient Egyptians.(less)
